Dear Friends,
Over the past few days—and especially right up to last night—I was surrounded by some truly incredible people. From early help in the final stretch, to those who stayed right through to the last minutes before midnight… you showed up, rolled up your sleeves, and got it done. Sorting, packing, lifting, cleaning—whatever was needed, you did it. No hesitation, no complaints, no compensation. Just steady, thoughtful effort and a shared understanding that this mattered.
We handed over the keys just before midnight, and we made it—together. What could have been overwhelming never felt that way, because I was not doing it alone.
To every single one of you who came in over those final days—whether for an hour or the whole day—thank you. Truly. You helped close HOH with care, dignity, and strength. I will always remember that. And this isn’t the end. What we built together continues—online, through pop-up events, Zoom workshops, and other gatherings to come.
