Myth: Contact lenses can get lost behind your eye 👁️
Good news—it’s physically impossible for a contact lens to travel behind your eye. Your eye is protected by a thin membrane called the conjunctiva, which creates a closed barrier around the eye.
If your lens feels “lost,” it’s usually just:
✔️ Folded under the eyelid
✔️ Shifted off-center
✔️ Or it may have simply fallen out
If this happens:
💧 Use lubricating drops or saline
👀 Look in the opposite direction of where you feel it
✋ Always wash your hands before trying to remove it
No disappearing acts here 😉
