My Story
My Great Grandfather worked on the historic Turkey Track Ranch and the 76 Cattle Company in Saskatchewan that was started in the late 1800’s and attended the Calgary Stampede in 1912. He also had Percheron breeding stallions along with 20 broodmares and stood the stallions to outside mares. My Grandfather used working horses and had a few race horses as well. My parents started breeding quarter horses in the early 1970’s and my Dad still breeds a handful of mares to this day. So you might just say “horses” where a part of me through the generations.
I started riding before I was born, as my Mom rode up until she was 8 months pregnant. At 3 years old I obtained my first pony, Ringo, and my Dad still says “he had a real rein on him”. Horse showing, 4H, musical drills, 3 day eventing, cattle drives, endurance rides, parades, jumping, dressage and most recently sorting have all been apart of my lifestyle. I lived outside during the summer as a child staying with the broodmare band and their offspring. I was truly blessed.
More recently, our daughter Brooke decided the world of horses was something she also wanted to explore and has grown a passion for reining. It’s been especially rewarding watching her ride and I know my parents have been thrilled to see her as 5th generation horse lover.
It just seemed to make sense to be able to be able to be a part of the horse community through offering Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy. Meeting and getting to know each horse is a privilege I don’t take lightly and my hope is to be able to help them feel amazing; they are truly a gift to us.
