Day 5 of our Challenge: Sleeping isn’t being lazy. It’s maintenance! Sleep helps your brain save memories, improves focus, boosts mood, repairs your body, and keeps your immune system strong. It also gives you more energy and better performance during the day.
Quality matters too: deep sleep repairs the body, REM sleep supports learning and memory, and waking up refreshed is the real goal. Skipping sleep (under 7 hours) increases illness, accidents, weight gain, heart disease, diabetes, and depression. What does all this mean? …going to bed early is productive - sweat dreams tonight!

Day 4 of our New Year, New You Challenge - keep hydrated! Your body is 60% water, so basically, you're a human water bottle. The U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine recommends consuming: 15.5 cups of fluids a day for men and 11.5 cups for women - this includes the water found in the food you eat. Water is your healthiest choice at zero calories. Don't even get me started on how much coffee doesn't count. So, drink up, everyone! How many cups are you aiming for today?
