🍦✨ Celebrating a Sweet Legacy! ✨🍦
Today we are recognizing our very own Resident, Larry Stacey, and his daughter Jenn, as they celebrate 15 years in operation of Jenn & Larry’s Ice Cream Shoppe here in Stratford! 🎉
Larry’s story with ice cream began way back in 1967 with Larry & Gail’s Drive-In, where his famous hand-spun malt milkshakes first became “legend-dairy.” That same passion for quality and community carried forward when Jenn and Larry opened their riverside shop on York Street in 2010. Since then, they’ve become a Stratford treasure—earning titles like Ontario’s Best Milkshake, Stratford’s Favourite Ice Cream, and Best of Ontario Ice Cream Parlour. 🍨🏆
We’re so grateful to have Larry as part of our Woodland Towers community. Always friendly, he even came to lunch today dressed in his ice cream shoppe outfit before heading back to serve milkshakes at the store—living proof that his passion for people and sweetness hasn’t slowed down one bit!
Congratulations, Larry and Jenn, on 15 years of serving up joy (and ice cream!) to Stratford. Here’s to many more years of scoops, shakes, and smiles! 💙
