Let’s say a big thank you to donors today, as Easter Seals PEI announces the recipients of its 2025 Provincial Grants, which were awarded to registered PEI charities that provide programs and services to Islanders living with disabilities.
“The grant process is an important part of our work to give funds back to the community,” says Easter Seals PEI Campaign Chair Della Parker. “We are pleased to provide funding to 20 recipient organizations ranging from inclusive education programs in schools to social, employment and recreation initiatives for adults living with disabilities throughout the province.”
2025 grants have been awarded to: Autism PEI, Camp Gencheff, CNIB PEI, Community Inclusions Ltd (West), Harbourview Training Centre, Inclusions East, Joyriders, Parasport PEI, PEI Association for Community Living, PEI Cerebral Palsy Association, Special Olympics, Spinal Cord Injury PEI, and the Inclusive Education programs at Alberton Elementary, Amherst Cove Elementary, Birchwood Junior High, Montague Regional High, Morell Consolidated, Queen Elizabeth Elementary, and École Évangéline. The Alternative Education Centre – Enhanced Learning Placement (ELP) in Charlottetown was also a recipient.
ESPEI will allocate additional funding in June to the three rotary clubs that operate the PEI franchise that use their funds to support a giving program within their club.
