Thank you to everyone who attended the talk at Gallery Stratford last week! Christy from Alzheimer Society Huron Perth discussed several modifiable risk factors with hearing loss being one of those risks. Lucas discussed different types of hearing loss and the hidden benefits of hearing aids. The question and answer period was great! We are happy to be part of this education outreach 💙🧡 Thank you Christy for sharing your knowledge and to Rob from the Gallery for a unique space for our gathering!

Feeling grateful to Stratford and the surrounding area for supporting our small local business! One year ago today we opened Community Hearing Care and haven’t looked back 😍 We have fabulous patients, we have volunteered and sponsored several community events, we have received amazing Google reviews and participated in talks to educate about the connection between hearing loss and dementia. It has been a busy year and we wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you from Lucas and Shelly 🥳💙🧡

WOW! Amazing community support 💙🧡

Thanks to the generosity of our Basketeers across Perth County, 130 baskets and $1,200 in gift cards have been donated to assist local women transitioning from a shelter into a new home. These donations will help local women to rebuild their lives with hope and strength. 🤍🧺

THANK YOU to all of this chapter’s long standing supporters in Stratford and to our new supporters in North Perth. Special thank you to all of the local businesses and organizations, hockey and volleyball teams, hospital departments, reading and dog walking groups who also worked together with your teams to curate the most beautiful baskets. Each and every one of you will have a lasting impact in the lives of 130 women and their children, showing them that we care & they matter.

To our partners, The Emily Murphy Centre & Optimism Place Women's Shelter and Support Services, thank you for the invaluable work you do all year round. You are nothing short of incredible, thank you for allowing us to do this.
