In honour of Music Therapy Month we wanted to take a moment to highlight the positive impact that music therapy has on our residents in their everyday lives! 🩷

What is music therapy and what can it do?
Music therapy is an evidence-based health profession where credentialed professionals use music—listening, creating, or moving to it—to achieve personalized therapeutic goals. It supports cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being, improving conditions like dementia, autism, stroke, and anxiety. Sessions are designed to be person centered with the interests and the needs of the client at the center of the program.
