🌞 Today we honour the summer solstice; a time of abundance, renewal, and deep cultural significance for many Indigenous Peoples. It’s a day to gather, celebrate the season, and give thanks for the energy that sustains all living things.

As the longest day unfolds, we stand in gratitude for the teachings of the land, the care of our communities, and the traditions that guide us through each turning of the year 🤎

Leaves Turning Colors Moon - Harvest Moon - there will be a Women's Full Moon Ceremony on September 18/24 at the Brandon Friendship Centre East Site at 7 pm. It will include a sweatlodge
ceremony. Bring to***co, yellow cloth, skirt, lawn chair, a food offering (no pork), water bottle, feast bag and sweat clothes/towel if going into sweat.

❗Update: Parks Canada has detected an adult zebra mussel near Boat Cove in Clear Lake .

Positive water samples also revealed zebra mussel environment DNA, indicating their growing presence.
