I just returned from a week long intensive training, as the wrap up of my year long Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Post Graduate Certificate from Vancouver Island University. My heart is so full after spending the week with 60 classmates from all across Canada- a diverse groups of therapists, doctors, nurses, energy healers, coaches... people from all walks of life. We laughed, we cried, we practiced skill and most importantly, we formed life long bonds!

It's images and study information like what is below that sparked my curiosity around these medicines, but it's seeing changes in people, hearing client stories, studying this process deeply which makes me truly hopeful for all those who are suffering with severe and chronic mental health conditions, and even those who aren't! I am excited for the day when they are fully legal for therapeutic reasons, when access is less restricted, and therefor becomes more accessible and affordable for those who need help the most. Opportunity available for a Provisional Psychologist!

We have a placement opportunity for a Provisional Psychologist in Strathmore (30 minutes east of Calgary) starting in the fall of 2025. The opportunity can be part time with shared office space, or full time with dedicated space.

Rachel Dundas has been a psychologist for 10 years. She is a Certified Play Therapist Supervisor, a Certified EMDR Therapist (consultant in training) and has advanced training in IFS, Dissociation, and Psychedelic Assisted Therapy. She uses many mindfulness based strategies in her work, and works with all ages.
