Highlights from the Legion Legacy Tree Planting Program in honour of the Legion’s 100th Anniversary. On May 19th, 33 Grade One students joined the Legion in Lakewood to plant 33 new seedlings in Brave Park for a day centred on community, remembrance and growth. A meaningful milestone and a beautiful step toward a lasting tradition.

We’re proud to share highlights from the Legion Legacy Tree Planting Program held in honour of the Legion’s 100th anniversary.

On May 19, 33 Grade 1 students joined the Legion in Lakewood to plant 33 new seedlings in Brave Park. The day was a meaningful celebration of community, remembrance, and growth, and we’re grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.

This project marks an important milestone and the beginning of what we hope will become an annual tradition.
