Reiki (ray-key) is an internationally renowned complementary to traditional medicine. Reiki's warm and loving energy promotes the body's natural healing ability, reduces stress while providing deep relaxation. This energy assists in healing all aspects of ourselves including: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual bodies. The practice is an ancient hands-on healing modality revived in Japan by Dr. Usui and brought to North America by Mrs. Touching an individual is not necessary for a session if the client would like hands-off. Reiki can also be done by distance (not in person). Distance in no way affects the quality of Reiki energy.
