Update: Newfoundland Power would like to advise that the power in the Summerford and surrounding area will be off until approximately 8 p.m. this evening, December 26. Since weather conditions have improved, they completed a helicopter patrol and identified the damage for crews to repair in order to restore power. They will continue to update our website with further information as it becomes available. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
