Yes you read that right, 1 in 5 women have PCOS!
It is the most common endocrine disorder in women of reproductive age and is a leading cause of ovulatory infertility.
It’s and I am going to talk about PCOS quite a bit because we need to raise awareness because most women don’t even know they have it!
No one really knows what causes PCOS but experts believe it can be genetic and also diet and lifestyle plays a huge role.
I had it for years and went to Doctors and no one said anything about it. They would just prescribe me birth control and anti-anxiety meds. It wasn’t until I took my health coaching and hormone courses, did I realize that I had it!
Then I changed my diet, made healthier lifestyle choices, took some herbs and worked on reducing my stress levels. My symptoms started going away…and I got pregnant naturally at 39. So it is possible!
