Yes you read that right, 1 in 5 women have PCOS!

It is the most common endocrine disorder in women of reproductive age and is a leading cause of ovulatory infertility.

It’s and I am going to talk about PCOS quite a bit because we need to raise awareness because most women don’t even know they have it!

No one really knows what causes PCOS but experts believe it can be genetic and also diet and lifestyle plays a huge role.

I had it for years and went to Doctors and no one said anything about it. They would just prescribe me birth control and anti-anxiety meds. It wasn’t until I took my health coaching and hormone courses, did I realize that I had it!

Then I changed my diet, made healthier lifestyle choices, took some herbs and worked on reducing my stress levels. My symptoms started going away…and I got pregnant naturally at 39. So it is possible!

Eating for to boost your fertility doesn’t mean you have to prepare big elaborate meals!

I love eating dips with veggies and crackers! So making some tuna dip (wild caught in a non BPA can), roasted veggies, hummus (made with olive oil, not canola oil) and gluten free seed crackers make a delish and filling lunch!

This contains lots of omega 3’s, healthy fats, protein, fiber and vitamins needed to optimize your egg quality and boost your fertility!
