Let’s talk about those pesky red, itchy eyelids. Did you know tiny Demodex mites might be the culprits? These microscopic critters are pretty sure they’re just along for the ride on your skin, hanging out especially around your eyelashes and eyebrows—sort of like tiny party crashers in the oil-rich zones!

As we get older, these tiny guests become more common—up to two-thirds of older adults might be dealing with them.

If your eyelids are acting up, see your optometrist for a proper diagnosis and a plan to keep those mites in check. Your eyes will thank you!

We are excited about the strong interest in the new vision program for elementary students. To qualify for the direct billing option, pre-registration is necessary. Please ensure that you complete your child's registration before their eye examination and bring your confirmation to present to the staff upon arrival.

The Program for Elementary Eye Care helps cover the costs of annual eye exams and up to 3 pairs of glasses, if needed, for children in grades 1 to 6. Who can participate?
