Amalgamated Dairies Limited (ADL) is a Prince Edward Island dairy processor. As a co-operative, ADL is 100 per cent owned by PEI's dairy farmers. ADL Has been producing quality Island dairy products for 70 years - Since 1953. ADL Has five processing facilities across PEI that produce milk, cheese, butter, eggnog, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk. ADL Also operates a Foodservice facility that services PEI restaurants and other hospitality businesses, healthcare institutions, etc. (ADL Foods) as well as a retail store that's open to the general public (The ADL Store in Summerside, PEI). ADL Products are available Island-wide, and our Dairy Isle brand of cheese and butter can be found across Atlantic Canada.

ADL CEO Chad Mann joined his son Alex on his ADL delivery route. Alex is a driver-salesperson at our Summerside fluid milk processing facility.

Chad & Alex teamed up to service many customers will all their fluid dairy needs - From white milk & buttermilk to whipping cream & coffee cream. And of course, ADL soft serve ice cream mix!

Family time & visiting with valued customers was the perfect combination for a special day. The customer service that Alex & his teammates provide is something to be proud of – We know Chad sure feels this pride!

ADL is Owned by PEI’s 145 Dairy Farmers and is run by a board of directors comprised entirely of dairy farmers who ensure that decisions align with Co-op Values.

On his 48th ADL Anniversary, Cheese Plant Manager, Jules Poirier, is retiring!

Jules greatly contributed to ADL’s status as one of the largest specialty cheese processors in Canada & his support for our production teams was crucial to helping ADL grow, increase capacity & ensure operations continued 24/7.

Congratulations to our 2025 Jim Bradley Scholarship recipient, Anneka Kouwenberg! 🎉🎓

Anneka's attending UPEI in the fall with plans to become a Large Animal Veterinarian. Her passion for agriculture stems from growing up on her Family's Dairy Farm & has encouraged her Leadership Work.

One example is Anneka’s creation of the Animal Therapy 4-H PEI Project – Where she'd bring farm animals to visit schools & youth events, allowing children to experience the positive mental health impacts of interacting with animals while educating them about different animal breeds, animal care & more. All donations collected at these events were given to the Joy Riders Horse Riding Therapy Service.

The Jim Bradley scholarship is in honour of former ADL CEO, Jim Bradley, in recognition of his 36-year ADL career & leadership contributions to PEI's agriculture industry.
