❄️ Cold weather = sensitive teeth?

If you notice a sharp zing when you step outside into the winter air, you’re not alone! Cold temperatures can trigger tooth sensitivity, especially if enamel is worn down or gums have receded.

A few tips to help protect your smile this season:

🦷 Use a toothpaste designed for sensitive teeth
🪥 Brush gently with a soft-bristled toothbrush
🥶 Breathe through your nose when outdoors
☕ Avoid switching quickly between very hot and very cold foods

Persistent sensitivity isn’t something you have to “just live with.” It can be a sign that your teeth need a little extra care. Reach out to your dental professional to discuss treatments that may be beneficial to you!
