ParkHill Place is a residential community for seniors and persons with disabilities. We serve Summerside and area residents by providing affordable, comfortable accommodations and quality services while fostering independence. Originally built in 1955, our community care facility is the former Prince County Hospital’s nurses’ residence. Currently, ParkHill Place offers service through a 62 bed lic
ensed community care home and a 37 unit independent living apartment building. Our philosophy is to assist our residents in maintaining independence and autonomy in each of our homes. Adjacent to ParkHill Place are many acres of parkland available for residents' enjoyment. We are close to many amenities; five blocks north to the shopping centre and five blocks south to the downtown area. Our entire staff has been carefully selected to ensure that all residents receive friendly, compassionate care, good food and activity/entertainment programs to stimulate and inspire our residents to enjoy life.
