Do you have persistent or recurrent low back pain?

We’re excited to offer GLA:D® Back, an evidence-based program designed to help you better understand and manage your back pain.

This program combines education and guided exercises to improve strength, movement, and confidence, while giving you the tools to stay active and manage symptoms long-term.

This program may be a great fit if you:

• Have ongoing or recurring low back pain
• Feel stiff, sore, or limited with daily activities (like bending, lifting, or sitting)
• Have been told you have “non-specific” low back pain
• Want to avoid relying on medication or passive treatments
• Are looking for a safe, structured way to get moving again

Participants learn practical strategies to reduce pain, improve function, and take control of their back health.

If you’re dealing with ongoing back pain and want a clear, guided plan to help you move and feel better, this program may be for you.

As the weather warms up, many of us are lacing up and logging more miles outdoors ☀️🏃‍♂️

Whether you’re getting back into a routine or gearing up for a race, it’s important to remember: running is a full-body activity.

Every stride relies on coordination, strength, mobility, and control from head to toe. When something isn’t functioning optimally, your body adapts—and that’s often when pain shows up. But here’s the catch: where you feel pain isn’t always where the problem starts.

Our gait and functional assessments are designed to break down how your body moves while running. We identify imbalances, inefficiencies, and areas of stress—so we can create a personalized plan to keep you moving forward, stronger and pain-free.

If you’re increasing your mileage or chasing a new personal best, now is the perfect time to invest in how your body moves.

Run smarter. Run stronger. Run pain-free.

Last but certainly not least in our team spotlight series is Dr. Brendan Parliament!

Born and raised in Beaverton, Dr. Parliament has always been closely connected to the community through sport and local involvement. From early on in his postsecondary education, his goal was to return home and work with the same community he grew up in—and he’s now doing exactly that.

With a strong focus on sports injury therapy, Brendan takes a practical, individualized approach to care. Whether someone is working back from an injury or managing something more longstanding, his focus is on improving strength, mobility, and overall function so patients can get back to their usual activities with confidence.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of Waterloo.

Over time, Dr. Parliament has developed a particular interest in movement and gait assessments, full-body rehabilitation, and concussion management. He looks at how the body functions as a whole and works to identify underlying contributors, which makes him a valuable part of the team for both athletes and general population patients.

Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find Brendan at the gym, at the arena, or chasing after his two kids, Liam and Maya.
