Happy Sunday Yogis!

I hope this email finds you well. Lots going on for me in the next week and a half. As most of you know I play guitar in a wonderful little band called the Whoopsie Daisies and we have a couple of performances this week which means I will need to change the schedule. I am also overjoyed to have my son and his family come from Moose Jaw to visit and see the performance. Because of this I need to cancel a couple of classes. I'm sorry for any inconveniences.

After a rather stressful couple of days dealing with my computer I am ever so grateful that my son is a computer wiz!

Everything is fixed, and I can happily say that Window 11 is gone off of my computer!!
Fingers crossed I know how to work this new system well enough to get on zoom tomorrow afternoon. There have been several trial runs and all went well. I will log on a bit early tomorrow just in case I have to iron out a thing or two.

That being said, it is a full week of yoga upon us!

Sorry to bother everyone, I am just doing a preemptive message in case there is a large amount of snow and wind tomorrow morning.
If the weather is going to be as nasty as it is being predicted I will run the Chair Yoga Class by ZOOM ONLY.

Happy Sunday Everyone!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful week away from the studio. Yes it has been cold, but oh so beautiful outside! We had a wonderful visit with my son and his family, and a wonderful snuggle with my grandson. He is getting so big!!
Super grateful for this practice so I can run around with him, pick him up and still feel like I did when I raised my own boys.

THIS is one of the biggest reasons to keep moving!!

We don't have to be body builders, marathon runners, or into extreme sports, we just need to move on a daily basis. Yoga, walking, swimming, jogging, skiing, all of it. A gentle and joyful way of moving on a daily basis can carry us as we age.

Its a full week of yoga!!

Good Evening Everyone!!

I hope this message finds you well. I want to let everyone know that there will be a slight schedule change this upcoming week. As some of you know, some of you not, my husband has been awaiting a surgery and has finally gotten in on a cancellation this Friday.

Due to this my chair yoga class will be moved to Thursday which will reflect in the schedule below.

I will also give everyone my schedule until after the Family day weekend since I will be away in Saskatchewan visiting my son and grandson.

Good Evening Yogis!

We are now in the last week of January. Christmas is a month past and it never ceases to amaze me how quickly I feel time goes. This has definitely been an emotionally challenging month for me which makes me so very grateful for this community, what we have created and the ripple effects I feel after every class.

Let's go into the last week of January together by supporting each other with loving kindness and creating peace and contentment.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!

I did a lot of resting along with a wonderful afternoon filled with playing music with some pretty amazing people! It is moments like this that keep my heart filled.

I was reading this morning from a wonderful book called When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chodron. There was a section that hit me in such a different and profound way and I will share it with all of you in hopes that it can bring clarity and softness as we navigate our embodiment.
We are very good at always looking for the next event, day, thing, filling our time, depleting our energy with worry, fear, hatred, expectations, you name it. The message behind this was instead of filling our day and saying to ourselves, this is one more day, instead flip that to "This is one LESS day" We are all placed on a boat and sent out to sea knowing fully well that at some point it is going to sink. So if we look at day as One Less to that point of sinking, it can create a deeper sense of gratitude for the day we have, because it is truly one less day.

If you need to decompress your body so your mind can be more calm, come join me this week for a class or two.

Hello Yogis!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I also want to thank everyone that was able to come out last week, new students, regular students, it was all so incredibly heartwarming.

As much as I love having some time to myself it was wonderful to get back into a schedule, even if I feel like a child learning how to peddle a bike, it's wobbly to start but steadies quickly.

Steady feels pretty darn good!

Happy Sunday Yogis!!

I hope everyone got to spend the holiday season the way they wanted to. I definitely did! Lots of family, some travel, and of course lots and lots of food!
I have to say that my body is really wanting some routine and boring food again, not so much rich and sugary stuff that I have been devouring the last couple weeks.

That being said, routine is back as of tomorrow!

This week is a full schedule:

I also want everyone to know there is no change in the cost of the classes. It is still $135 for a 10 punch pass and $20 for a drop in class. And like always there is no expire date on the punch passes.
