We finally got the chance to have a full nights rest which was something we desperately needed in those early weeks. She was so calm, caring, and confident with the babies. ✨Group Prenatal Classes in Cochrane✨

Increase your confidence with prenatal education. Group classes are available. Class curriculum will cover everything — late pregnancy to early parenting.

Option 1: 3 week series, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Monday, September 22, 29 & October 6

Option 2: 1 day class, 9:30am - 4:30pm
Sunday, September 7

*All classes are taught by a certified childbirth & lactation educator. Receipts are issued for possible reimbursement with your healthcare benefits.

Welcome! I’m so pleased you’ve found your way here. For those I have yet to meet, I’d love to get to know you. I’ll go first…

I am Erin Moyen, founder and director of Chavah Childbirth Services Inc.

• I am a wife. I am a mother to 3 lovely humans and 3 angel babes. Our earth-dwelling children are 23, 22 & 15. Our twin pregnancy + singleton losses took place in 2011.✨

• I have been supporting and educating childbearing & postpartum families for 19+years!🤰🏼📚🤱🏽

• As the Director and one of the Educators with the I share knowledge and equip the next generation of As a and a I have trained doulas from all over the world.🌎

• I am originally from Vancouver Island, and miss the ocean, lakes, and our eldest daughter EVERY DAY! 🌊

• Our family has lived in/near since 2006. Yes, we’ve seen it grow.😉

• In addition to being a pregnancy, birth & postpartum guru, I am also a phlebotomist.🩸💉 🏥

• Summer is my favourite season. I believe I’m solar powered☀️

• I am a lifelong learner of all things maternal-child health! There are always new studies to review, courses to take and evidence-based information to share.

"You don’t need to have given birth to be a brilliant doula."

We hear this all the time -

“But I haven’t had children… can I still be a doula?”
The short answer? YES.
The long answer? Also yes. Loudly, proudly, absolutely yes.

You don’t have to have given birth to be a compassionate, capable, and deeply effective doula.
Your power comes not from your own birth story, but from your ability to hold space for someone else’s.
What matters most is empathy, presence, deep listening, and a commitment to open-minded support.

Some of the most incredible doulas we’ve trained have never been pregnant.
They bring unique perspectives, strong boundaries, and deep emotional intelligence to the work.
And their clients are deeply supported, seen, and respected.

So if this has been holding you back, take this as your nudge:
You don’t have to tick every box. You don’t have to wait.
If you feel the call, trust that it’s for a reason. It’s enough. You’re enough.
