Shadow healing is the process of uncovering and bringing light to the hidden parts of ourselves—the beliefs and emotional wounds that shape our lives without us even realizing it. When we face these aspects with compassion and courage, we begin to reconnect with our true, authentic selves.

Healing Sessions with Horse and Rider
Uncovering the Truth Within Through Animal Connection

Horses have an incredible ability to bring unconscious memories and emotions to the surface. They act as powerful mirrors, often triggering deep, hidden aspects of ourselves that are ready to be healed.

During a horse retreat, I experienced a profound breakthrough. Old memories surfaced—memories tied to not knowing how to stand in my power or create healthy boundaries, both with people and animals. Horses have always had a unique way of drawing out my buried feelings, but this particular experience was unlike anything I’d gone through before. The horse I was working with wasn’t interested in how I appeared to feel—he demanded authenticity. He challenged me, pushed every emotional button, and reflected every limiting belief I had been holding onto and hiding from.

That session cracked open layers of pain I had carried for years—abusive relationships, low self-worth, childhood trauma. I realized I had been playing out these stories in my life, over and over again, never fully seeing the patterns until that moment with the horse. It was raw, it was painful, but it was the beginning of a true healing journey. If you are:

When you have partnered up with a horse you will have things in common that will reflect fears, negative beliefs, traumas back at you, or onto your horse. Work with me and we will find a way to heal these imbalances so you bring more fun into your partnership with your equine companion.
