Founder of Younity Yoga body mind medicine. Welcome. A little about me, I have been practicing yoga for over half of my life. (nearly 16 years). I have been fortunate to be able to teach yoga off and on since 2009 when I earned my first certification. (always a student) Being that I am a busy stay at home mom of 5 young children, I understand the demands of a juggling being a householder/parent.

I offer classes that are full of love, understanding, and most important, Fun! οΏ½ I like to take time in the poses, allowing the body to warm up and focus the attention on the breath. This allows for a safe practice when navigating how to move the body freely in unison with the breath. I hope my classes will leave you feeling honoured and valued. There is a wide range of diversity in my teaching techniques, from power yoga (ashtanga), to restorative yoga, to post and prenatal yoga, to meditation and breath work, so there is something there for everyone. Please feel free to ask any questions, as I am simply here to guide and to help you unite your mind and body to it's higher states of being. Transcend with me. οΏ½

Gratitude practice

Hi!
It's Younity Stacy here. Hi. πŸ₯°βœ¨

When I was in the trenches of grief and felt no need to carry on with life, I was also holding a new born baby. That baby became my source of gratitude. That was when I intentionally started a gratitude practice.

It's this simple...
Find a quiet space, sit in a comfortable way, and place hands on heart... breathe...come up with something. Start slow. One thing. And another. It can be as simple as liking the feeling of your socks, or the sun rays through the window. Start growing the list.

I dedicated 2 min everyday to sit in gratitude. That was 14 years ago.
Now I practice gratitude meditation sessions for 20+ min... and even have had the privilege of guiding a few large groups. I'm telling you, there's nothing quite like it, experiencing gratitude in a collective way, when people source their own inner light, power, wisdom....absolute magik ✨πŸ’ͺπŸ™πŸ’—

The benefits of face yoga

*A more radiant complexion.

*Softened wrinkles and plumped skin.

*A way to de-stress/ have fun/ laugh

*Smooth forehead lines. (which I could use)

*Reduce frown lines between the eyes.

*Make your eyes look more open, and smooth crow's-feet

*Reduce nasolabial folds and firm the cheeks

Basically its a cheap, natural way to love your face without cosmetic surgery.

Our face has muscles too, and when they start to atrophy, the skin sags and hangs... I mean age and gravity all play a part, but face yoga will help extent the timeline of those natural occurrences.
