Gratitude practice

When I was in the trenches of grief and felt no need to carry on with life, I was also holding a new born baby. That baby became my source of gratitude. That was when I intentionally started a gratitude practice.
It's this simple...
Find a quiet space, sit in a comfortable way, and place hands on heart... breathe...come up with something. Start slow. One thing. And another. It can be as simple as liking the feeling of your socks, or the sun rays through the window. Start growing the list.
I dedicated 2 min everyday to sit in gratitude. That was 14 years ago.
Now I practice gratitude meditation sessions for 20+ min... and even have had the privilege of guiding a few large groups. I'm telling you, there's nothing quite like it, experiencing gratitude in a collective way, when people source their own inner light, power, wisdom....absolute magik β¨πͺππ
