It was a pleasure visiting Dr. McKinnon, Dr. Kistemaker, and Dr. Afroze at the Sundridge District Medical Centre yesterday to discuss doctor recruitment and retention in rural and small-town Ontario. Our government remains committed to expanding access to primary care and ensuring everyone has a doctor. Hearing directly from those on the frontlines about their experience is critical in developing sound policy.

The team at the medical centre has done a tremendous job with its recent expansion and modernization, made possible by a NOHFC grant a few years ago.
