The Compass Pathfinder studies are looking into a new investigational approach for people with treatment-resistant depression (TRD).

TRD is depression that has failed to respond to treatment with two or more pharmacological treatments. The three-part Compass Pathfinder studies, which will last up to 62 weeks, will compare the effectiveness of an investigational medication, alongside psychological support, as a treatment option for people who have not been helped by prior treatments for their depression.

Individuals may qualify for the study if they:
• Are 18 years of age or older

• Have been diagnosed with major depression (single or recurrent episodes)

• Are experiencing treatment-resistant depression, defined as failing 2, 3 or 4 pharmacological treatments for current episode of depression

• Meet additional study criteria

Reimbursement for reasonable, out-of-pocket expenses for travel and accommodations may be available to qualified participants.

To learn more about the study, please visit our website: centreforneurologystudies.com/psilocybin-and-treatment-resistant-depression-study/ or contact our research coordinators by phoning 778-584-0064 or emailing CNSNeuroStudies@gmail.com

🌟 We’re excited to share the publication of an important study in in Human Neuroscience, in collaboration with members from the Cognitive Function Development Institute and NeuroCatch!

📊 The research focused on participants undergoing the Cognitive Function Development Therapy (CFDT) program, which aims to strengthen key cognitive domains. Along with the Cognitive Function Development Institute’s markers of cognition, NeuroCatch’s rapid and objective neurophysiological measurements were leveraged to observe marked improvements in attention and overall cognitive function. This work is an important initial step for CFDI to work towards a standardized level of evidence-based mental and cognitive healthcare.
