We are proud to see Grace, a resident whose wish was fulfilled through Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime - Rêver pour la vie, featured in Zoomer Magazine.

At 88 years old, Grace, an accomplished pilot from Edmonton, returned to the cockpit for the first time in more than 50 years. With a flight instructor by her side, she proved to herself that her skills and spirit were still strong, successfully landing a small aircraft.

Grace’s story is a testament to resilience, passion, and the belief that adventure has no age limit. We are thrilled to celebrate this national recognition of her incredible achievement.

Residents enjoyed a wonderful day out filled with delicious Greek food. Laughter, and a heartfelt round of " Happy Birthday " for our dear Leo. Just when everyone thought the fun lunch was winding down, our amazing activity director, Diane, surprised us once again with a mystery guest! This time, with a lively belly dancer performance! The room lit up with smiles and cheers, making everyone's day, and especially Leo's 88th birthday, truly unforgettable.

Hideaways- both indoors and out- this sanctuary is truly a must see for every animal lover. 🐱
