Feeling stiff and tight on this rainy Saturday? Try out our favourite 2 stretches and core exercise to get those hips moving and core feeling strong strong! At we are a big fan of longer holds for stretches so hang out for at least 2 minutes to feel the full effect in these stretches. A few sets of 15 reps of the Bird Dog exercise will do wonders for tightening up your core and stabilizing the spine! These are just 3 exercises out of thousands available in our Physitrac rehab app so make sure to ask us next time you are in for your own customized rehab program!

While we wait for the Provincial Health Authority for an official opening date we are hard at work putting measures in place to keep our amazing patients safe! Here is just a list of a few of the changes at GHG:
-New plexiglass barrier at the front desk
-new social distancing waiting room setup
-hand sanitizer dispensers
- surgical masks for both patients and staff
-infrared non-contact thermometers for increased patient screening

We will continue to uphold the sanitizing procedures put in place before we closed our doors and will continue to add to the list as more recommendations become available.

IMPORTANT CLINIC UPDATE

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak the RMT’s at Grandview Health Group will be cancelling all appointments for the next two weeks in an attempt to encourage self isolation and social distancing. Anyone with an appointment will be contacted and can re-book once the Massage therapists are back in the clinic.
As stated in the previous update, the Chiropractors will be making themselves available for urgent care patients only and will evaluate each case based on specific symptoms as well as meeting the following criteria:

- Have NO symptoms of any illness
- Have had NO contact with someone possibly exposed to COVID-19
- Have not travelled anywhere in the last 2 weeks
- Feel they are in SIGNIFICANT discomfort and can not wait two more weeks for treatment.

We will not be checking phone messages daily, but we will check emails daily.
