* As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant you will:
• Work under the supervision of the Registered Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) practice leader, to carry out established program activities within the SLP scope of practice.
• Receive assignments and implement interventions related to the clinical aspects of the SLP.
• Record and manage documents to show a client’s progress towards meeting established communication objectives as stated in the service plan and reports concerns and /or changes to the Speech-Language Pathologist
* Qualifications:
• Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program which includes Speech-Language content (such as a Speech and Language Assistant training program ) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid BC driver's license and operational motor vehicle required.

Niño’s Voice Speech-Language Services, Inc. is looking for a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist for a part-time or full-time contract position.

Job responsibilities include:
- Administer assessments, conducts direct therapy and provides consultation
- Provide services at clients' homes, schools or daycares and clinic
- Monitor clients' progress and adjusts the treatment accordingly
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices
- Builds rapport with families and provides ongoing feedback, education and home programming
- Maintains complete records in accordance with the rules and regulations of CSHHPBC

Qualifications:
1. Completion of Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology program.
2. Must hold current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia.
3. Must be willing to work as an integral member of a team, have excellent oral and written communication skills, computer skills and strong time management skills.
4. Ability to work independently with little direction, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative.
5. Experience with children who have various developmental, physical and communicative disorders.
6. Experience specifically with pediatric and school-aged clients is an asset.
7. Excellent organizing, coordinating and managing the program demands in a fast-paced environment.
8. Must have high levels of attention to detail and confidentiality.
9. New graduates are welcome!

Nino’s Voice Speech-Language Services, Inc’s “Pro Bono (free)” service caters to the following cities; Abbotsford, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Delta and Surrey. Unfortunately, we can accommodate two clients/students per week due to time constraints and limited staff. We apologize to those who are on the waiting list. This service is designed for families who don’t have access to government funding (e.g., AFU AHP, CKNW, etc.). For families residing outside our specified coverage area, we can only cater to your needs virtually.

To those families who are looking for regular speech and language services. We regret to inform you that we are already fully booked until the end of the year.
