For Jeffrey Johnson, a Fraser Health psychiatric nurse and veteran, remembrance is about more than honouring those who were lost. It’s also about the unseen battles that many veterans face when they return home.

His journey from soldier to nurse taught him that healing is a lifelong process and that compassion can change lives, including his own.

“As I grow in my recovery, so do my clients,” he says.

❤️ This Remembrance Day, Jeffrey reminds us that honouring service also means supporting mental health.
