Fleetwood Villa residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to the Museum of Anthropology, where every corner sparked curiosity and conversation. Surrounded by incredible art, cultural exhibits and fascinating artifacts; there was so much to see and learn. The residents loved exploring the museum's rich displays and taking in the stories behind each collection - a day filled with discovery, reflection and share appreciation.

With laughter and smiles all over the space!
The residents gather with joy and with cheer,
We're shouting "Happy Seniors Day - Hooray, you're here!"

They exercise daily, they stretch and they bend,
With strong steady steps right 'round everyday bend.
Outings and journeys bring sights to explore,
With memories made that we truly adore.

At happy hour time, there's clinking of glasses,
With stories and chuckles shared in great masses.
Special events fill the calendar bright,
From music to games to a bingo delight!

Now staff join the fun in their caring own way,
Housekeeping keeps shining our rooms every day.
The nurses give comfort, with kindness and care,
The maintenance team fixes this, that and where!

Recreation brings painting, drumming and song,
Inviting us all to come join right alonge.
And maintenance too, with a smile on their face,
Celebrating birthdays all over the place.

Recently, Karen fulfilled her lifelong love of music by attending a Jann Arden concert with her granddaughter, while Ernest, a vintage car enthusiast, enjoyed a ride in a restored 1932 Auburn.

Lynwood Park continues to create unforgettable moments that reconnect residents with the things they love most.

Residents at Venvi Churchill Place in Oakville were treated to a tasty presentation from a local student entrepreneur. Charlotte, a 15-year-old with a passion for baking, started her business, Grain & Loaf Co, to showcase that healthy can also mean delicious. Specializing in whole grain, good for you baked items, Charlotte is dedicated to bringing fresh, locally sourced, and handcrafted goods to customers.

Joined by her mother and grandmother, Charlotte brought her baked scones, muffins, and challah bread to share with residents, who were inspired by her energy and passion. She shared her story, recounting how she had taught herself to bake through trial and error, experimenting with healthier ingredients to make her treats more nutritious without sacrificing taste.

By the end of the presentation, Charlotte not only shared her delicious baked goods but also forged connections bridging generations through the joy of baking.

The Bentley Regina recently celebrated their grand re-opening after months of renovations. Residents were joined by Regina’s Mayor, Chad Bachynski, and other members of the community who were able to enjoy the inviting new spaces. The residence features an ode to The Capitol Theatre and an all-new pub called The Honking Goose Tavern. Guests had the opportunity to sample the Pension Plan Pilsner, a collaboration with The Bentley Regina and Pile O Bones Brewery located in Regina - a true Saskatchewan beer. A new resident at Venvi Windsor Park retirement residence felt overwhelmed on her first day, until a group of compassionate residents embraced her warmly. Over lunch, they shared stories and realized they all hailed from the same Italian town. What began as a simple gesture blossomed into an hour of laughter, camaraderie, and encouragement.
