A funeral procession is more than a line of cars — it’s a journey of love and remembrance. It's important to show respect by slowing down and yielding so the procession can stay together, pulling over or stopping safely to let them pass, and keeping quiet by lowering music and avoiding honking.

A brief pause speaks volumes; your kindness offers comfort to grieving families and honours a life respectfully.

When someone loses a loved one, grand gestures aren't always the most meaningful. It's often the simple, heartfelt ones that bring comfort, like sending a meal when words fail or helping them with errands, housework, or childcare.

On August 6th, I visited Laurel Place Hospice in Surrey. I met some familiar faces who always greet Avalon staff with a smile, I was delighted to receive additional smiles on their faces with our Arbor donation.
They are replacing old furniture and upgrading TVs for their patients this year, and our donation will greatly help with their project.
We’ve promised future support – next one coming will be during Christmas time when we will visit again with something sweet for all the staff.
A short break between the heavy rainfall allowed us to take this lovely photo outside their garden.

Thank you to the AMF for this generous donation program.

A gentle reminder: cemeteries are meant to be peaceful places where families can reflect and remember their loved ones. 🕊️

When visiting, remember to keep voices low, silence your phone, and avoid any loud noises. A quiet, respectful atmosphere helps everyone feel comforted during their time of remembrance.

On Tuesday July 15th, on behalf of Arbor Memorial, I was greeted by Abigail, director of Gateway Community Childcare Society, along with 36 kids (3 months – 5 years of age) and many other teachers.
It was such an honor to present a donation cheque to the GCCCS as they work hard for the brighter future of this community.

Abigail showed me the spot where they will build a new garden for bigger kids, what learning tools and educational toys they are planning to purchase with this donation.
They were thrilled and so was I!

This lovely picture was taken with all the people there, and they gave me this amazing poster as a gift.
I am happy to share this with the entire Arbor.

Again, big thanks to Arbor Memorial Foundation to allow this to happen.

With much appreciation,

Leo H. Park
