K I N D E R G A R T E N 🍎 2026 🍎

If your child is entering Kindergarten in 2026, you are invited to participate in our PEER program. This includes 10 online parent sessions, and 2 in-person events for children to mingle and learn about Kindergarten with one another.

All families receiving services from BC Family Hearing Resource Society, are automatically included. Families receiving services elsewhere can e-mail info@bcfamilyhearing.com for more information.

Come join us on Saturday July 26th and Sunday July 27th for our annual Mingle and Play event! There will be a variety of entertainers across the different days (including music, storytellers, a clown, an ASL staff skit, and some very cute rabbits🐇).

FNDC Family Network for Deaf Children & DYT Deaf Youth Today is partnering with Northern BC Children and Families Hearing Society and British Columbia Provincial Outreach Program Deaf and Hard of Hearing, to present a Family Adventure Camp!

The camp with be in Ness Lake Bible Camp, Prince George, BC, from September 12-14, 2025. Registration closes August 16, 2025.

The Deaf Children's Society of BC is hosting a get-together at the Cove Indoor Playground in New Westminster!

The playground is an inclusive and sensory friendly environment designed for children who are neurodiverse and/or have developmental disabilities (aged 0-5)

Mingle and Play 2025 will be on July 26 & 27!

Join us for two fun-filled days of connecting with other families with deaf and hard of hearing children. Lunch is provided, and we will have lots of fun activities and entertainers such as:

Will's Jams from PebbleStar on Saturday from 11:00am to 11:45am.
A JUNO-nominated musician, his music (both in French and English) has lots of fun wordplay and chances to sing along.

Mr. Bubbles ( http://www.earlearl.com/About.htm ) on Sunday from 10:30 - 11:30am. He will be showing off his magic, juggling, and balloon sculpture skills.
