We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team who is licensed to practice in BC or has application process started. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy and ensuring that all medications are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise pharmacy staff
- Ensure that all medications are properly stored and labeled
- Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed
- Monitor drug inventory levels and order medications as needed
- Ensure that all medications are dispensed in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Provide medication counseling to patients as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Active pharmacist license in British Columbia or application is in process.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pharmacist, with at least 1 year of experience in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
