That’s a wrap — goodbye Bavarian Week at Sunnyside! 🎉
It was so much fun making Bavarian hats, listening to cowbells and the alpenhorn, and enjoying a week full of Bavarian meals — including the beloved German strudel 😋. We learned a lot and finished up with a Bavarian brunch, complete with entertainment by Franzl and his “Squeaky Box” (aka accordion) 🎶.

And who knew German lemon-flavored beer 🍺 could be this good!? 😄

Our residents recently enjoyed a fun Bus Outing to Granville Island 🚌! They had lunch at old Bridges and took a stroll through the market , enjoying all the delicious treats. Next up: a sweet trip for ice cream 🍦 at White Rock Promenade 🌊—loving this beautiful weather ☀️!

We kicked off Nautical Adventures Week with a splash! ⚓️
From our Sailor’s Stretch to the lively Knot Relay Fun, and wrapping up with the meaningful Anchor’s Wall of Wisdom, it was a day full of movement, laughter, reflection, and gratitude — a perfect reminder of what keeps us steady through life’s waves. 🌊

Don’t forget about the Captain’s Treasure Draw happening at the end of the week! Residents can collect stamps in their Captain’s Log Passport by participating in activities — gather at least 5 to be entered in the draw.

A fun way to explore new adventures and stay shipshape all week long! Ahoy! 🚢✨
