As physios, weโ€™ve seen a lot of shoulders, and these are our must-follow rules for keeping them healthy:

โ€ข Keep moving, stiffness makes things worse
โ€ข Strengthen the rotator cuff + shoulder blade muscles
โ€ข Switch positions often instead of worrying about โ€œperfectโ€ posture
โ€ข Stop if pain is sharp, but mild discomfort is okay.
โ€ข Be consistent, daily exercises beat one hard session a week
