To our beautiful float community,
As you know, Float House South Surrey closed its doors on March 18, 2020, in efforts to help ‘flatten the curve’ against COVID-19. This decision was made out of concern for our staff and every one of you. It was the right decision and we made it with the expectation that we would reopen once it was safe to do so.
It is with deep sadness that we now announce the immediate and permanent closure of Float House South Surrey. This difficult decision stems from the current pandemic, and financial hardship experienced by the centre. Our little business thrived when we had a membership base filled with people who loved floating. We lost a considerable number of members after the March 18 closure and it is likely we will never reach that stable base again. We have been told there are loan options, but loans are only more debt which we cannot afford to pay back.
We hope that Float House South Surrey offered you an environment to calm the mind, relax and heal the body, and nurture the soul. To that end, we thought we would focus on the positive and share some stats of the successes we had over the past 4.5 years.

Lastly, we want to thank all of you. Thank you for supporting us with your patronage, for bringing us goodies to make us smile, offering us your friendship, sharing stories, and for allowing us the opportunity to share floating with you. You are our float family and we will miss you.
