Why do Chiropractors recommend you coming 3x/week? Here is a good answer 👇

It's called neuromuscular plasticity. Frequency and repetition change muscular patterns, proprioception, stimulate nerve adaptation and neovasculularization to a new position. One or two visits will get you some pain relief but won't cause any long-term changes. This frequency teaches the body of new place where the brain and muscles accept this new position as The New normal. That just doesn't happen you come once in awhile. It's the same reason why going to a golf lesson and them teaching you the right swing does no good if you're not immediately repeating that swing on a regular basis. It is the reason why physical therapists, behavioral therapist, sports coaches and just about every other health care entity uses the same protocol of frequency. Once the body can hold this new position then frequency is reduced and then monitored for any relapses. The process works, it's just a matter of implementing it and monitoring the changes.
