Not every skin spot is "just a spot"…

Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC) is the most common type of skin cancer, often caused by long-term sun exposure. It can show up as a small pearly bump, a pink patch, or even a sore that just won't heal.

The good news?
👆 It grows slowly
👆 It's highly treatable when caught early

But leaving it untreated can still lead to invasion into local structures — so it's always worth getting checked.

If something on your skin doesn't look right or isn't healing, don't ignore it. Early action makes all the difference.

After surgery, the healing journey doesn’t always end in the operating room. For many patients, ar**la restoration tattooing can be a beautiful and empowering final step.

The work featured in this video is performed by Jenelle Boudreau at Freckle Beauty House 📍 (705) 988-6170. Jenelle specializes in professional medical tattooing, including ar**la restoration for post-surgical patients.

Dr Van Der Vyver works closely with Jenelle and often refers patients to her following surgery. She is based at Freckle Beauty House Sudbury, but also travels to Sydney and is happy to assist Dr Van Der Vyver’s patients there as well.

⚠️ Please note: This video is shared strictly for medical and educational purposes to demonstrate healed ar**la restoration results. The imagery is clinical in nature and intended to showcase professional outcomes for patients considering this treatment.

If you would like more information about surgical options or post-surgical restorative treatments, please feel free to reach out privately.

Does your finger catch, lock, or snap when you try to straighten it?

Trigger finger happens when inflammation narrows the space around the tendon in your finger. It can cause:
• Pain at the base of the finger
• Stiffness or swelling
• A locking or catching sensation

It’s more common with repetitive gripping, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and in women over 40.

The good news? Treatment options are available, and early assessment can make a big difference.

If you're experiencing symptoms, don’t ignore them.
