How has this been 5 years 🤯.
I came across this memory and thought, wow, although there are some differences , there are also a lot of similarities.
I’ve always had more of a focus on strength training (rather than strictly heavy cardio). I’ve always believed in a well-rounded routine of strength, cardio and toning. I’ve always believed in healthy , whole foods. But what has changed in the past 5 years is my end goal. In my 20’s, some of the goal was to look a certain way (and I don’t think there is anything wrong with that 🫶). In my 30’s, the goal is much less about look and more of function. Healthy heart, healthy lungs, healthy mind. Strong bones, injury recovery , independence.
I am soooo lucky that I started weight training earlier in my life. If you haven’t started yet, this is your sign ✨.
