Fun fact; whiskey pushes things out, expels things from the body, like pathogens, opens pores. (Obviously if you have too much it will expel more then a pathogen). The reason I find this interesting is being around people from different backgrounds Whiskey has been something I noticed used a lot for colds and flu's. Such as a hot totty or a shot of whiskey to warm you up when in a cold environment like a fishing boat or ski hill. So now this makes sense as to why it is used.

Huang Ti Nei Ching Su Wen: nowadays we use wine as a beverage and reckless behaviour is usual. Enter love in an intoxicated condition, passion exhaust vital forces, cravings dissipate true essence, we can not find contentment within ourselves, we are not skilled in the control of our spirit. Devote all attention to the amusement of our minds, thus cutting ourselves off from the joys of a long life. Rising and retiring is without regularity. This is why we degenerate. Take what you will from this. 🥰

So, I just completed my last bio exam of the year. TCM exam is on Wednesday and that's it until 3rd year. I can not believe i have made it this far. Im getting excited about getting back to treating people and using these new skills to improve my ability to give individualised care.
