After extensive research for the best ingredients and perfecting my recipes to be used for my family and yours. I have been making and selling these products for over 11years. They are safe for the entire family. I use All natural and Organic ingredients. They are Doctor approved and recommended.
I started this journey to replace the toxic products we were blindly using and trusting for our family. My son who is now almost 14 was only 2 & 1/2 at the time got a hold of a popular brand of children's spray sunscreen. He sprayed it all over his bedroom floor in our 110 year old home that had been painted numerous times over the years and his fisher price garage and toys. When we cleaned it up, it had eaten through all the layers of paint straight to the bare boards. Melted his garage and his toys, also stripped my nail polish off. Thus my year long journey into creating my sunscreen that is safe to use from birth on up. It is a broad spectrum, non nano partical zinc oxide sunblock, non stinging, fragrance free and full of skin loving butters that have their own SPF values and herbal infused oils.
**What is the difference between a mineral sunscreen and a traditional sunscreen?
There are two types of UV filters: chemical and physical. Chemical filters use active ingredients that get absorbed by the skin to block UV rays and protect the skin. Physical (or mineral) filters create a physical barrier on the skin to block UV rays.
According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG), zinc oxide is considered to be the safest physical filter.***
Two of my 3 children are extremely fair , one has very sensitive skin and I am extremely allergic to artificial fragrance. Many of my customers have the same issues. Many with skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, lupus and have no issues using our products.
***We do not reccommend young infants/children to get direct sunlight exposure but to protect their little hands, feet and cheeks our product is excellent and safe. *Even though All natural and chemical free I always reccomend doing a small skin patch test before using to ensure no allergic reactions to any of the ingredients.
