Happy New Year Dear Valued Customers,

Welcome to the Hippy H**p Snackbar, Sydney 's local boutique for sustainable style and community connection.

Our story began back in 2017 when Michelle Deveaux-Hann dove into research on h**p seeds and discovered the impressive nutritional benefits and sustainability of industrial h**p. Starting small and sharing a vision with friends and family, a business idea formed. A chance meeting with a lady sharing similar interests and seeking distributors of h**p products led to an increased enthusiasm for me. Honestly, I became aware of the hurdles that would need to be overcome as h**p was still getting a bad rap often associated with our ma*****na.
Despite having to defend the start-up, I remained determined to bring a different h**p business narrative to the local market. After pursuing the Nova Scotia business registration status, and strategically situating Hippy H**p at the Joan Harris Cruise Pavilion, Sydney, the rest became history. Thrilled to have Allan on board at this time, who has been very instrumental to our growth and success. The store proudly made use of vintage equipment and product displays to promote the free-spirited, relaxed, love for nature culture reminisced from the 60's to 70's. Hippy H**p aims to provide the locals and visiting tourists a friendly and stress-free shopping experience without pushing sales, for Allan and I, good honest fun kept us in the game of business till today. However, leading to eventually building a small enthusiastic team that could see our vision! We are proudly approaching 10 years in business and grateful for the journey that has brought us to where we are today.
