☆Good Morning Lovelies! ~ Jack-o'-Lantern☆
🍅The legend of Stingy Jack🍅

Jack was a devious man who tricked the Devil multiple times. In one version, he convinced the Devil to turn into a coin, but then kept the coin in his pocket, which also contained a crucifix, trapping the Devil until he promised to leave Jack alone for ten years.

When the deal expired, Jack tricked the Devil again, this time getting him to climb a tree and then trapping him with a crucifix until the Devil promised never to take his soul to hell.

Upon his death, Jack's sinful life of deceit led to him being denied entry into heaven. However, because of his deal with the Devil, he was also barred from hell.

Because of this, Jack was doomed to roam the Earth for all eternity. The Devil gave him a single burning coal to light his way, which Jack placed inside a hollowed-out turnip.

This tradition of carving turnips with scary faces to ward off Stingy Jack's wandering spirit was brought to America by Irish immigrants, who then switched to pumpkins because they were more readily available and easier to carve.

~ History of Hallowe'en ~
☆Halloween is an annual celebration on October 31st with roots in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian observance of All Hallows Eve. Modern celebrations often include secular activities like trick-or-treating, wearing costumes, and carving pumpkins, and are associated with horror and the supernatural. It is also a part of the Christian liturgical observance of Allhallowtide, a three-day period to remember the dead, which concludes with All Saints' Day (November 1) and All Souls'Day (November 2). ☆

Halloween's origins are in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, which marked the end of summer and harvest. Bonfires and costumes were used to ward off ghosts.

The message of this card is to review the ways you may need to establish healthier boundaries. Maybe you're in a codependent relationship in which you may be losing your sense of self. It is common for Starseeds to dive deep into relationships , particularly with those who feel safe and familiar at a soul level.
You may be in a relationship which you give more than you receive. Or there's a certain volatility to it, and you're always unsure where you stand.

This card is a sign to do a relationship review and see what energetic agreements you've made consciously or unconsciously. To acknowledge if there are relationships in which you feel anxious or powerless, you don't feel like it's safe to relax and just be you, or to assess if there are any places of inadequacy that you've used a relationship to soothe and cover up.

☆THE VEIL IS THINNING☆ describes a belief that the boundary between the physical and spiritual worlds is becoming weaker, allowing for more spiritual activity and a greater connection to unseen forces.
This is often linked to the autumn season, specifically around Halloween/Samhain because of the natural cycles of death, shedding, and the lengthening of nights. It can also be a metaphor for when a long-held mystery is being revealed or when people feel this is a time when their intuition and psychic abilities are heightened.

The full Moon that lights up this fire sign shines a spotlight on your personal mission, your individual approach, and the unique gifts that only you can bring to this world. Aries energy holds a simple yet powerful truth: You came here to do something that only you can do—not your sister, not your best friend, not that person on social media who seems to have it all figured out. You.

Full moons are about fruition and closure. The very shape of the shine is a metaphor for how we culminate, close circles and/or end cycles. A supermoon, due to its proximity, heightens these effects; more revealing, more feeling, and fingers crossed, more healing.

🧡Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation when Canadians reflect on the legacy of residential schools and remember the survivors and those who never made it home.
The residential school era refers to a period between 1857 and 1996 where 150,000 Indigenous children were forced to attend church-run, government-funded schools where they were barred from speaking their languages in institutions often rife with abuse located far away from their families and communities.
An estimated 6,000 children died while attending the schools, although experts say the actual number could be much higher.
Sept. 30, known as Orange Shirt Day or the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, is meant to honour survivors and those who never came home.🧡

◇Happy Monday ~ Sending you all some early morning positive energy!◇

It's normal to look to the external world for answers and guidance.
The challenge for empaths is staying connected without cutting off from the world. The best way to do this is to develop a daily practice that helps you to keep checking in, draw on the wisdom within, and let that be the authority in your life.
You may be called to develop or switch up your spiritual practice, to get in the habit of turning your gaze within - getting centered for the day - before consuming anything from the outside world. To start
with a feeling of "at homeness."
This doesn't mean switching off from the realities of today's world. Rather, it's a call to start your day from a place of connectedness, grace, and devotion, so when you go out into the world and when you let the world in, you do it from an unshakable state of being. A state where you draw your strength, authority, and guidance from a place deep deep within.
