One of the first things to expect at your dental hygiene appointment: Documentation of medical history 📋🩺 ✅
There are many medical conditions and medications that effect the mouth that we need to be aware of.
We also need to make sure it’s safe for you to receive dental hygiene treatments. So if you are taking medications please bring a list with that information to your dental appointment.

A 2008 meta-analysis looked at different interventions to improve rate of illness transmission. Antibacterial soap was NOT better and neither was hand sanitizer. Wash your hands! 😊
