We are excited to continue this intergenerational programming in partnership with YMCA of Cape Breton 💖Huge thanks to our amazing staff who worked hard to get residents ready for this wonderful event.

Yesterday was a very special day at the Cove Guest Home as we welcomed children from the new Child Care Centre for their first visit with with our residents! We look forward to continuing this intergenerational programming in partnership with the YMCA of Cape Breton. Huge thanks to our amazing staff for all their work in getting residents ready for this wonderful event.

During Seniors Week from October 2 to 9, the Department of Seniors and Long-Term Care is hosting a Speaker Series, with a variety of discussions looking at aging well from various perspectives.

There are informative sessions on topics like the Canadian Dental Care Plan and Estate Planning, as well as more lighthearted conversations including Gifts from Your Ancestors and Contes acadiens – Une vie aventureuse (presented in French).
