✨ Think Big Thursday ✨
A new year invites us to release what no longer belongs in our next chapter. Old hurts, heavy emotions, and words left unsaid can keep us tied to the past.
Forgiveness isn’t about excusing what happened—it’s about freeing yourself. One powerful way to begin is through writing. Today, I’m sharing a letter exercise to help you let go and make space for peace and healing. ✨ Some of the hardest things to carry is anger, hurt, and the inability to forgive. As long as you hold onto that pain and negativity that person or situation still has power over you. Every time you feel these emotions, that person or situation is pulling the strings.
This is where letters come in.
How it works
Write a letter to that person or situation you can't forgive or move past. Even if your in the middle of hell right now. Pour your heart and soul into it. Yell, scream, cry, use curse words and call them every name in the book if you need to. This is YOUR letter.
When your letter is complete sign it
"I'm bigger than you. I'm better than this. I'm done. Go away."
Then sign your name.
Light a white candle and burn the letter in it's flame. As it turns to ash, so does the power that pain had over you. You'll feel that weight lift instantly as it makes room for your spirit guides and loved ones who past to come in and help you heal.
Important
These letters can be emotional, so never write more than 1 a day. Afterwards reward yourself. Watch a silly show, eat the cake, drink that glass of wine, stay up late. Just do something small for you. You've done something brave, and deserve a little kindness for yourself.
Remember these letters are for you, not anyone else. They are a big step towards inner peace, and the beginning of you taking your power back.
