When it comes to health-related resources in our community, the Well Women's Clinic offers a wide range of medical services specifically tailored for women.

If you're looking to book a check-up, get an IUD or other implants, get tested for STIs/STBBIs, have a pap test, access birth control, or more, we highly recommend contacting the Well Women's Clinic.

While the Every Woman's Centre offers the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program, we unfortunately do not provide additional medical services. However, our Centre does offer a variety of other resources and programs for women, including gender-based violence support, non-perishable food items, hygiene products, clothing, seniors' programs, and more.

Sending a massive THANK YOU and loads of appreciation to the 4 phenomenal NSCC Marconi Social Services students who are wrapping up their work placement with the centre this Friday. Cassie, Emily, Robyn and Keira you all worked so incredibly hard these past few weeks and it was an absolute pleasure working with all of you! I can not wait to share the resources you made. What an incredible bunch :)

We’re kicking off Menstrual May, and we need your help! 💪

🗓️ We’re asking businesses and individuals to collect as many menstrual products as possible and drop them off to the Cape Breton Centre for Sexual Health between May 13 – 30, 2025. They are one of our funded partners, who provide a safe and confidential space where individuals can receive support, accurate information and services in dealing with sexual health.

Thank you in advance for your support! Making menstrual products available free of charge in bathrooms throughout Cape Breton is one small way to help alleviate the stress and burden of poverty.
