Menopause Awareness Month is observed in October to educate people about this natural life transition, raise awareness of its diverse symptoms and challenges, and reduce the stigma surrounding it. The month encourages open conversations and provides resources for people to manage symptoms and access support. World Menopause Day is also celebrated on October 18th!

The Cape Breton County Community Health Boards held their cheque presentations to community groups on Thursday evening, Sept 18 at the Port Morien Legion!

We are so pleased to announce that the Hot Bloomers Menopause Support Groups are being funded by both the East Cape Breton CHB & Central Cape Breton CHB!

Hot Bloomers is a collaboration between Every Woman's Centre & the Cape Breton Centre for Sexual Health. Co-Facilitators Wanda Earhart (EWC) & Vanessa Walker (CBCSH) want to extend sincere thanks to the Cape Breton Community Health Boards for this funding that helps make it possible to offer this incredible program that supports women in our community!
