We’re excited to be joining CBU as they wrap up Wellness Week. We’ll be on site with safer s*x supplies, resources and the STI Care Now self‑testing kits; a quick, confidential way to take charge of your s*xual health.

Cape Breton University Psychology Honours student Anna Penny is looking for participants for a study on romantic relationships and jealousy.



Adults aged 19 and older who are in a monogamous relationship of at least 3 months are invited to complete a short (15 minutes), anonymous online survey asking questions about your romantic relationships.

We are excited to share that we now offer STI CARE NOW self‑testing kits through a partnership between the Cape Breton Centre for Sexual Health and Nova Scotia Health. These kits let you collect your own sample at home and mail it directly to the lab or drop it off at a designated drop‑off location

Kits are available for people aged 15 years and older.

Free Reusable Period Products!

We’re so grateful to The Period Purse, a Canadian nonprofit working to achieve menstrual equity and reduce stigma through education and access. After attending one of their one-hour education sessions, we received a $2,000 donation of menstrual supplies,
completely free!

And here’s the best part:

Any organization or group that attends a session with The Period Purse is eligible to receive the same $2,000 donation.

We chose their reusable product package, which means we now have a limited supply of reusable period underwear and pads available at the Centre... and yes, they’re FREE!

Why not grab a free pair of reusable period underwear or pads, a practical, sustainable gift with impact!
