Hello Sylvan Lakers!
It’s a long shot, but Rory’s bike he got for his birthday, his first Brand New bike he’s ever had, has dissapeared. Yes it should have been properly put away, and it was forgotten outside behind our house and when we went to get it, it was gone. If your child has acquired it, no hard feelings but Rory would really like to have it back. If an adult acquired it, just know that it belongs to a 5 year old who made a mistake and while it’s a life lesson for him, stealing from a 5 year old isn’t karma I would want to carry.

As I celebrate my this year in my business, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support over the past year. Your loyalty and trust have made my journey truly special, and I am immensely thankful for each one of you.
In the spirit of giving back to the community that has embraced me so warmly, I am launching a special initiative to support children facing food insecurity this summer. During the school year, many children rely on school programs for their breakfast and lunch. However, during the summer months, the local food bank faces increased demand to ensure these vulnerable children continue to receive the nutrition they need.

Today I spent a lot of time sitting in gratitude for positive connections in my life and the ability and flexibility to work from home. I would like to talk about how cool hair stylist and client relationships can be.
I had the best time today when one of my most favourite connections came over to get her hair done. Part of the reason I love doing hair so much is I really enjoy people, I love all of my clients who often become friends. I love helping women especially, feel confident and powerful both inside and out. Beauty is as much of an inside job as it is outside. I have held space and walked with many women over the years through many life events, including struggles and celebrations while keeping their hair beautiful and healthy and helping them feel ready to take on the world.
Kathy Flasch has always been one of my biggest cheer leaders and best clients over the last 12 years. Through this we have built a beautiful friendship and have walked with one another through some of life’s adventures and have grown into a deep appreciation of one another.
Kathy has purposely sat in the front row of almost every workshop I have ever hosted, occupied my hair chair for over 12 years but she also she loves on my babies, gives me advice only a mother can sometimes and is someone I genuinely enjoy spending time with. She inspires me to be brave and always speak my truth. I love you to the moon and look forward to more adventures in the future ❤️ Thank you so much for all you do ❤️.

As we approach this new moon in Aquarius on February 9, it is a good time to think of and create balance within ourselves and our surroundings. My name is Nancy Lynn Moore-Vallee and I am the owner, operator and resident Intuitive Medium & Reiki Practitioner of Stepping Stone Gem Studio. I am located in Sylvan Lake, Alberta where I live with my family. I have loved crystals for as long as I can remember, I even did a science project on them in second grade. I have also been a hairdresser for over 12 years and the studio is setup with in my at home hair studio.
I have been intuitive all my life, often dreaming of things before they happened since I was a child, being able to understand animals and people on an energetic level without even realizing that's what I was doing. Sometimes feeling or sensing spirits or events to come or how they may unfold. However, when I was younger my gifts intimidated me and I shut them out as best I could for a very long time.
In June of 2014 when my son was born I underwent a massive awakening and there was no turning back. Not only was I a new mother, but also rediscovering who I really was in my heart and spirituality. I could see, feel and hear spirit for the first time since I was a child again and decided to embrace the journey. I have been actively developing my mediumship skills since then and in February of 2017 when my mother unexpectedly passed away, my gifts were taken to another level. In my own need to connect to beyond our physical world I have found I really enjoy helping connect others with passed loved ones as well. The messages that come through are often so healing for my clients and it fills my heart to be the messenger of love, light and insight. I am so blessed to be able to share my gifts with others.
Stepping Stone Gem Studio came to be not long after my mum passed away. For Christmas in 2016 she had given me some money and I found it one day on my fire place mantel and decided I needed to do something really special with my last Christmas gift from my mum. Being that she was an independent business woman her self, I knew she would approve of me starting a home based crystal and healing business. So, Stepping Stone Gem Studio was born. I feel like I use crystals and signs from my angels and guides to follow a path on my own life, like following stepping stones. I want to share this with anyone who may need or want it. they provide stable ground in times of uncertainty and help to keep you grounded and lift you up when you need it. They can also be a guiding light in times of darkness.
