It all started when I returned from a full year of traveling the world, searching for answers to many of the questions that most of us have throughout our lives. “What are we doing here? What’s it all for? What is my role in everything? Why is it so hard sometimes? What’s missing?”
After finding many of these answers, I returned home and started building. I didn’t even know what I was building at that time. But very quickly the name La La Land came to me. It’s an homage to my father. The man who’s passing impacted me in a way that forever changed the trajectory of my life.
After a year of building without any real direction, I took a break to get into better alignment with what was meant to be. At this time Korinna (and Bodhi) entered my life and offered a fresh perspective and much needed support for the vision. It was more clear now what was to be. We were to build a space for love, compassion, support and healing. The world needs this now more than ever.
I’m sure many of you have been watching, wondering what exactly we are doing here. The vision is clear, but the path is still being revealed. We are building a wellness retreat. We want to build yurts and gardens and a communal building. We know there are so many retreat spaces out there already. But ours will be different.
We are not building a business. We are building a space for the community to get involved. To take the reigns and give back. A space to give AND recieve. To offer whatever you have at your disposal. Whether thats construction skills, knowledge about regenerative farming or sustainable living. Whether you are a healer, a guide or guru. We are asking for your help. We need your support. The support of the masses. People who until now have been watching from the sidelines. Now is your chance to be involved. That could look like monetary donations, or even offering us your skillset.
