We've been doing the 12 Days of Christmas for the past 11 days. Now for the final, 12th day.
Day 12: Your Personal Roadmap
Our Safety Energy Lock 12 is located midway on the back of the neck. When in balance and harmony we are reminded to let each of our will expand. Also, to be aware and in touch to help me embrace my creator's will also. It is then I am aware of my personal roadmap and how it fits into the scheme of my life. When I resonate with that connection I have the courage and strength to be open to new ideas. This connectedness brings warm and harmony to my life and the lives of those I meet.

Place the left fingertip on the left middle of the neck for a few minutes or longer until a rhythmic pulse is felt.

Day 9: Starting a new cycle, new beginnings
I drop my backpack of burdens and let go of habits that do not serve me, physically, mentally, or spiritually. I embrace those habits that support my vision of the future through new beginnings and experiences. “I AM MY OWN Responsibility" is the quote from Mary Burmeister. On the 9th day of Christmas, allow me to end the habits that hold me back and no longer support my vision for new ideas and new beginnings. Leave the old begin the new, I am my own responsibility.

Today we are using a helper safety energy lock in place of Safety Energy Lock 9. Isn’t it great that in Jin Shin Jyutsu there are so many ways to help yourself? Safety Energy Lock 19 is easier to reach as a helper to balance Safety Energy Lock 9.
Place the left fingertip on the right bend of the elbow. for a few minutes or longer until a rhythmic pulse is felt.
Such an easy step and so effective. As you hold your 19, close your eyes – take a conscious breath and allow your hands to stay there as long as you want and can. Helping you to celebrate a relaxed and happy holiday. Merry Christmas.

Day 8: The magic of the holidays, peace within
Today our focus is on SEL 8. At this magical time of year, how do I strengthen the rhythm within me? This rhythm allows me to search within myself for finding and loving YOUR rhythm. As it does that, it also helps to release muscular tension in my being. Tight, tense muscles, even backache can be helped by harmonizing this safety energy lock. As you reconnect to your creator, are you able to feel peace and contentment within yourself? Finding the rhythm of YOU.

Hold the outside of the bend of the knee.
Such an easy step and so effective. As you hold your 8, close your eyes – take a conscious breath and allow your hands to stay there as long as you want and are able. Helping you to celebrate a relaxed and happy holiday. Merry Christmas.

Day 7: Joy filled
Are you able to see, hear, and feel the abundance around you? It is there for you to receive and enjoy.
Today’s safety energy lock encourages you to receive the abundance around you. Let’s begin to remove thoughts of rigidity and stubbornness. These thoughts may prevent you from receiving that perfect gift of life. Let me spread joy to others and remind myself the I AM MY OWN JOY.

To harmonize Safety Energy Lock 7, we will be using a finger helper. Through the philosophy of Jin Shin Jyutsu, you can hold the ring finger as a substitute for Safety Energy Lock 7. Remember you are always receiving the perfect gift of life.
Simple hold your ring finger for 3 – 5 minutes or longer.
Such an easy step and so effective. As you hold your ring, close your eyes – take a conscious breath and allow your hands to stay there as long as you want are able. Helping you to celebrate a relaxed and happy holiday. Merry Christmas.

Day 6: Ready for the balance point? Here it is.
Day six of our journey with Jin Shin Jyutsu self-care routines. The focus is to find ourselves calm, balanced and inclusive this holiday season. Let's focus on balance. Notice that the focus on balance is smack dab in the middle of this series. As our body, mind and spirit continue to renew and assimilate all that has come into harmony during the last few days of self-care.
Let’s do a check-in. Is your body calmer? Are you feeling a greater sense of calmness? Are you experiencing greater joy and laughter bubbling through us? Is there freedom from the emotional burdens that we have been carting around?

Today's focus on using Safety Energy Lock 6 encourages more harmony in all those areas. I hope you become aware of the changes as you go through your day.

Day 5: ready to change old patterns
How do you meet the demands of life each day? As we tackle the events that happen each day, put fear aside, listen to our inner knowing and adjust. Here is our helper Safety Energy Lock for today. Meet Safety Energy Lock 5. It is located on the inside area below our ankle bone. Interesting place you may think. Our foot is a horizontal plane in which we touch the earth with every step. Our ankle allows for some flexibility in the foot. That flexibility encourages us to face any fear or uncertainty as we meet life. Safety Energy 5 helps us meet those demands with strength by letting go of old ways and replacing them with new habits is a great step forward.
Place your right hand on the left 5 located just below the ankle bone toward the hollow of the heel. If it is difficult to reach this area you can use the finger helper for this safety energy lock, the INDEX finger.
Such an easy step and so effective. As you hold your 5, close your eyes – take a conscious breath and allow your hands to stay there as long as you want and can. Helping you to celebrate a relaxed and happy holiday. Merry Christmas.

Day 4: Your Personal Assistant
How would you feel if you were to have a personal assistant that knew exactly what you needed, when you needed it and exactly how much you would need? Wouldn't that be lovely? That assistant would help feed our vision, give us mental clarity when it was needed and well as helping to calm our emotions. Where can I hire that assistant so close to Christmas you ask?
Aren’t you lucky to find out that that assistant is with you all the time!? Our personal assistant is helping us and is located at Safety Energy Lock 4, and it’s located at the base of our head. This Safety Energy Lock can help calm the chaos of the season, organize our day, and give us the vision to see new adventures.

Place the left fingertip on the right base of the head for a few minutes or longer until a rhythmic pulse is felt.
As you hold your 4, close your eyes – take a conscious breath and allow your hands to stay there as long as you want and are able. Helping you to celebrate a relaxed and happy holiday. Merry Christmas.

Christmas: Day 3: Opening or closing doors
Does our attitude of worry create a habit of closing doors? Or are you worried about what is behind the door? Is it good for you to open that door?
This is where Safety Energy Lock 3 brings in the understanding of when to open the door and when to keep it closed. This Safety Energy Lock is also known as our respiratory helper and is good to help your immunity. Whether that is immunity from flu and colds or immunity from negative actions, people, or situations. Help me to understand that open doors can show me the beauty and brilliance that each day holds. Also let me shut those doors to provide protection from those attitudes and circumstances that are not helpful to my body, mind, and spirit.
Place your right hand on top of the shoulder You can hold both left and right side at the same time. Sit, stand, or lie down wherever you are comfortable. Place your hands gently around the Safety Energy Lock.
Such an easy step and so effective. As you hold your 3, close your eyes – take a conscious breath and allow your hands to stay there as long as you want and can. Helping you to celebrate a relaxed and happy merry Christmas.

Day 1: Flexible and fearless
Let go of our fears allowing us to move fearlessly through the holiday season, especially when we are feeling scattered and overwhelmed as the holiday draws near. Do not allow worry to disrupt your harmony.
To walk in unity and balance every step and balance the moment. The RIGHT NOW STUFF happening this instant. Now we feel our burdens at ease. Maybe our steps become lighter, and we truly can KNOW MYSELF.

To help ourselves balance and harmonize our Safety Energy Lock 1. Helping us to be more flexible, having better focus (less scattered) helps our legs, and breath, shore up our boundaries and communicate more easily.
Place your fingertips of the right hand on the left thigh (SEL Hi 1) and place the Left hand on right thigh (Hi 1) until a rhythmic pulse is felt. About 2 to 5 minutes.
As you hold your Hi 1, close your eyes – take a conscious breath and allow your hands to stay there as long as you want and can. Helping you to celebrate a relaxed and happy holiday. Merry Christmas.
